I got the correct grille off of the '68 B,
but one of the aluminum tabs on the bottom is
broken in two.How do you repair this/whom do
I take it to?
Also, the plastic MG badge came loose
from the grille. What should I use to reattach it
with?
I have used a two part epoxy to replace the badge on my 66 B. As for the aluminum tab, you will need to find a shop that is capable of making that kind of repair. You may want to search the web for a local british/mg car club and see if they have someone they can recommend in your area.
Thin aluminum cut to shape and a couple of aluminum rivets? There should be plenty of old grilles around that a donor part can be removed from. Just cut it large enough to drill into a ok spot on the new grille and attach.
