O.K. I've just been notified that there is a 67 big healey for sale near me that has been awaiting restoration for some time. I've not seen the car yet but left a message for the owner. I've been told it has a "bugeye" front end?!? Is this possible?

Jeff

Oh! I would guess it is a Sprite,not a big healey---FWIW---Keoke???

Therehave been works rally cars over here that have had spolights fitted to the front of the shroud sort of in the manner of the frog eye, but not so promenant, more in the lines of the light pods on an XK150, but I would doubt that this is an ex works rally car, if it is, snap it up if it has good provenance. Otherwise it may be some ones efforts at replication or, as Keoke says, it's a bugeye sprite.

Jeff, me thinks whoever reported it said '57 not '67, then it could be a Sprite, ....Arrrrgh! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif
