A while back I posted some pics of a 65 Bug I bought. a GI from the local airbase wanted it..so I sold it to him. Today he got orders to go to Kadena AB Japan..his third tour there...so the Bug is back up for sale...its a beauty..12 volt conversion..bigger engine, VW chrome wheels, two tone paint..C/D system..and it gets a guaranteed minimum 35 MPG...verifiable. Anyone interested..let me know asap or evilbay gets a shot at it...desert car...zero rust and never hit.

How much is being asked?
 
We have a few things to do..but once finished..out the door for $5500..I doubt anyone could build one for that...especially since its unwrecked and rust free...a desert car all its life.
 
Ah the list of "if onlies" I could give....
I'm sure it won't last long.
 
That's pretty reasonable - at least compared to the prices I saw at the Turkey Rod Run (which are usually hysterically dream-like anyway).

I'd settle for a single-port type-1 engine for my project right now :frown:
