650 miles in an MGB, a drive report

Thank you for sharing the details of your trip Drew. Capital Reef is one of my all time favorite national parks to visit; Yosemite being the other. The expanse of the place is just overwhelming and just beautiful terrain.

Been talking about getting Kelly behind the wheel.
I was happy enough that Jenny wanted to go along as a passenger -- she's not that interested in riding in the Sprite, but she likes the B. Reason enough to keep both.

You got there, and that's all that matters.

Careful Drew, I knew a guy that broke several fingers and left one in the boot because he had his hand right where yours is while conducting a quick fix. The support came loose and the lid smashed down....

One more shot from the trip, taken while I was sorting out the broken exhaust mount.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Day 2, Sunday: 200 Miles</span>

We have just two founding principals: we will never have a judged car show, and every drive will include food. .

Dude, sign me up. I might have to make that run w/ you guys some time.

then again...w/ 200 mile stints, I hope y'all include food. :jester:

That is ~THE~ ( and I do me ~THE~) most favorite thing for me to do. I enjoy nothing better than putting Kelly in the car and going for a drive somewhere to eat.

The running joke @ BMCNO ( British Motoring Club of New Orleans) is the first three letters stand for Big Meal Club. Best bunch of folks you'll ever met.

I'll bet Jenny is glad you decided to keep her and the B.

Not too much difference b/w the one I had and a B.

Both were unreliable, leaked and left me stranded several times.
