I was going to install an inline fuel filter on my 65 MGB. I noticed in the Moss catalog under fuel system they don;t show one....only a straight hose going to the Su's Did the 65 MGB come standard with a fuel filter?
Been a long time since I had a "65", but I don't remember any filter. But based on the age of the car a filter before the carbs would be a good idea. Keeps the gunk out of the float bowls.
I always add a glass one right before the carbs. It has helped me on several occasions when I broke down because of a fuel clog. It comes apart and has replaceable filters.
