HelloAll:In the on-going saga of my B,I finaly took the engine out and found that the clutch problem was a worn through out and a bad pressure plate.since it was this far, I ordered a toyota trans conversion. Also droped the pan and pulled the head. This let me find all the wear of 38 years, including a cracked crank shaft. All of this said I am looking for a 3 main crank.Any thoughts? Thanks Martin

check with Tony at the autoist If you are going to all that trouble, and are not building a concours car, why not look for a good used 5 main engine, they are way stronger, see above
