Man, still need to plate the car and work out a few kinks. I would have rather been out driving a bit today, but I took a few pics and thought y'all might enjoy.

Wow Barry, that's sweet!!
I've been outside working on the Midget, now its time to drive to the auto parts store. Maybe it will be an uneventful trip!

WOW! That looks great man! I love the color combo!

I really like the tilt top. Who's kit did you use? I also like the belt straps.

Yep, 70 here, I took a nice drive. Joy joy.

Really looks good Barry. I too love your front tilting bonnet, who's kit?

It's the kit that someone posted on here last spring. I took the specs to a buddy's dad's shop and he made them out of 1/4" stainless for me.

Very nice work, Barry! Those pictures are motivating me to get out there and get cracking on the Tunebug. It's been a bit warmer here as well (40s) which is good garage weather.

OK.....I'll be the one to ask. Why does the rear end sit so high?

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car, it just doesn't sit right to me.

BTW.....where did you get the carpeting for the boot? How much??

The rear sits a bit higher than the front because it has competition leaf springs and front springs to match. The front springs make the car sit an inch lower. All of the suspension is new, front to back. A wedge can be made to compensate the rear, but I like the look. And, she handles like a champ!

Buy your carpet and interior from Moss, via Tony (the Autoist.) He can quote you a price.

Barry, Looking fabulous!!!!

Great colour combo and I love the flip nose.

I built one on a Frog 25 years ago and am planning on doing one on my '73 box Spridget (by bolting the fenders to the bonnet and making it all one unit).

Weather here in NJ is great too. Summer's coming!

Tulip trees have put out flowers here.

Here are some pics after I blasted her and got most of the metal roughed in. I had started bodywork about 8 years ago and had to stop because school was getting in the way. lmao

This picture was taken about 2 1/2 years ago--after I blasted all of the work that I had done out and began to do it "right"!
