Body is finished...suspension/steering finished....engine compartment finished.....gas tank/plumbing/wiring finished.....bumpers rechromed & awaiting installation (hardware on way)...radiator reworked....starter/generator back from electric repair shop...

Tomorrow windshield assembly goes to glass shop for new glass, rubber, screws, posts, etc. to prep it for installation on body...

Also awaiting new RH door latch (thought all I needed was a new spring but when I installed it, lever popped out of place)

........& tomorrow I start prepping engine/trans for installation.

hmmmmmmm....what've I forgotten??? {Heater! I forgot the heater....core has been checked & is good...just need to paint case & bolt in place. But I'll probably wait until after the engine's in.}

Yep, Stuart...dash, interior last thing....dash is assembled (all instruments, new covering) & just waiting...new panel kit, new carpet, nothing wrong with old seats so they're going back in.

Trailer going to bodyshop tomorrow for redo just in case....

Oh, you forgot to put the steering column and switches on before the wheel!
Steering wheel's just temporarily in place so I can move it around & so my 2-year old grandson can play in it this weekend. After all, according to my will it - & all my other cars - are his anyway!

Looking real nice Tony.

Looks great, Tony.

I understand about the grandson...I do the same...no, not to let the grandkids play, I DO THE PLAYING!

I went ahead and fabbed up the steering column and wheel when mocking up the seats for the Spridget Project...for fit..that's my story (sticking with it)...funny, there were 'VAROOM' sounds emanating from my garage, and I was the only one there :smile:

Looking great, Tony. You've really put together a nice little car there.

Lovely Tony, just lovely.
One day my Sprite will look so good. What color is it? Don't say "RED"...there are way to many "reds"...

Don

Vermilion.

When you get the sanding and polishing finished Zimmy that is going to be one fine looking ride.
