On a 1963 BJ7 , Does the windshield center anchor bolt go on top of the dash pad or under the dash pad? It does not want to fit either way (what a surprise). Thanks....

Hi Allen, the Bolt is inserted on top of the scuttle bracket and resides under the dash pad. Do you have the correct threaded anchor in the scuttle ??---Keoke
 
I know I had the wrong one to begin with. It seems to be a coarse thread. It would be nice if something lined up but so far........
