Today it is 62 years since I first drove my Mk2 Sprite away from Donald Healey's dealership in Warwick, England. I had no idea that Little Mo would still be driven by me 62 years later. It is still a blast to drive and has won many prizes. The drive back to my USAF base that day did not go as smoothly as I had expected. Half way back the car slowed down and coasted to a stop. It didn't take long to realize that my "petrol" tank was empty. A kindly local driver picked me up and returned me with a can of fuel from the nearest town which was ten miles away. Now, at 86 years of age myself, I wonder how long my little car will be able have me behind the wheel.

Congrats to you! and to the car (little Mo right?) hope there is cake,

Congrats Nelson, Nice to hear stories like this! :thumbsup2:

Dang! I wish the decisions I've made in the last sixty some odd years were as wise and as fortunate as yours. And I'd like some cake too, please. Doug
