TR2/3/3A 61 tr3 lock washer

Hi all I have a question about the bolts that hold the body tub to the frame on 61 tr3. The question is easy; it looks to me like there are no lock washers on the bolt on the outrigger. Is that the case? It probably does not matter that much, but I still have this purist thing going on.

Moss shows flat washer and lock washer on top of that. That's what I installed. My official parts book indicates the same.

Of course, it wouldn't be the first time that both sources are mistaken. They also show washers on the bolts from the drip rail next to the trunk lid into the rear fenders, but the factory did not put washers there.

Randall, I just had to check for myself...WM0057...34 req'd...I guess they should have put 24 under the first screw listed and nothing after the second screw. You'd have to have a complete knowledge of the whole parts manual to come up with stuff like this. Incredible...

Edit: BTW, are you saying that there aren't lock washers required on the bolts that Steve is asking about??

No, I don't recall offhand what goes there. Just happened to remember about the drip rail bolts, due to a conversation I had with John Swauger (sp?) several years ago (I didn't believe him either

I'll try to check my cars when I get home tonight, though.
