Awesome past 24 hours!!

Amos celebrated Christmas at the beach today by passing
thru the 600 miles driven without a breakdown barrier!!

The Crypt Car averaged 7 miles between breakdowns. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

More miles driven in Amos during the past 24 hours than
driven in the Crypt Car during the entire 12 months of 2006.

Here's Amos smiling at the beach this afternoon. Ain't
he a good looking chap ??

Dale - In 2000, I drove my TR3A from Montreal via Detroit Iowa, Yellowstone to VTR 2000 in Portland Oregon. That trip was over 7,000 miles. Life in a TR is GREAT.

Dale it just shows ya what persistance can do! Amos is a good looking auto!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!

And arrived with a bum generator as I recall /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Your story and perserverence have been an inspiration! Congratulations!

That car looks stunning. Dale, I am pleased to
have made your acquaintance. Impressed with your
perseverance. Proud of you and the car. Now I
wanna drive on an island; wind in my hair; sunshine
and bikini-clad women....

Opps, got a bit carried away, there. Nice car, Dale.

Great Milestone reached, Dale. Truly hard work paying off.
Enjoy it.
I too like the sound of wind in the hair and sun shine. Drive a few miles for me.

Congratulations Dale. I think you have certainly shaken off the demons of Cryptie. The car looks great. Is this an observation test, by the way?!!

Dale great job, amos wouldnt have made it without your hard work and perserverance, also the weather looks great down there

Here's to 1000++++ miles. Enjoy Dale.
I see wendy, I see wendy! And when did you get the "tripod" headlights? I don't remember those ( they were probably there, I just diden't notice.). They look good!

Those look for all the world like the metal "dividers" from a Mk-I Cortina taillamp assembly!!!

Congrats, Dale! Now just drive it. Get used to the 'feel' of it. As you become used to the various sounds/vibrations/quirks you WILL be able to spot trouble coming when you 'feel' some change in it. The car is capable of a great deal of feedback before something goes wrong, you just have to be in tune with it when all is 'normal'!!

Way to go Dale!!!! Now drive the "Whee!!!" out of it and break your own parts. Hurry and get the Tinster Guide to TR Repair publish and send the 1st autographed copy to a certain Pedro who shall remain nameless,

Your car is bringing so much positive attention with the reliability and aesthetics that PR State hood is back on for discussion.
