I am still at it trying to put my car back together. I am working on the wipers at the moment. I have put the two wheel boxes in place and intalled the metal tubing. As I look at these from the front of my car, they are both pointing to the outside. Is this correct? If not, what am I doing wrong? Thanks,Kevin

Both windsheld wipers point toward the left on a Bugeye. For goodness sake test with the wiper blades off.

Do you have a wheel box on upside down or backwards. I seem to remember having to start over on one of mine.

I don't think I made myself clear. I am having a hard time describing this. I do not have the windsheild wipers on at the moment - only the wheel boxes fastened in place with the chrome nut and bezel. The part of the wheel box that pokes through (the furled part the wiper arm attaches to)points slightly to the outside of the car. I have a picture of a BE I took at a car show, and the wheel boxes look perpendicular to the windsheild. Does this vary with years? I looked at both wheel boxes, and there is no other way to make them fit that I can see. I don't suppose anyone has a closeup pic of the windsheild area that shows the jets and wipers in relation to the windsheild?

This is probably not going to help but I took this of my '63 because it too is wrong somehow, hood hits the wiper arms as I raise it so maybe not a good example.

I suspect there's mismatched parts on mine, either the wrong wiper arms or something else. I need to address it as every time I raise the hood they hit, damaging the paint and the arms.

Yep those are not the correct arms.
