I'm facing an interesting weekend.
I'm doing my first 6H race as 3rd driver on a blue TR4.
This racing is going into the night and darkness. Hope the king of darkness will be on our side.

110 cars on the grid:

Cheers
Chris

That's a lot of cars on the track. What's the overall length of the track, will the cars spread out quite a ways apart? I see there are some really fast cars in the group. Good luck with the TR4!!
Regards,
Bob

Healeys do their time on the straights with about 300 hp and a big top speed.
According to his laptime I'm 3 seconds slower in my TR4, but this time I drive a friends car and sitting for the first time on the wrong side of the car.
A new experience.

Cheers
Chris

Have fun Chris- Will you be in the Bastuck TR4? I'm guessing you will either be driving this one:

Or this one:

Beautiful cars!

I drove none of the above cars.
I drove the #73 of Robert Hamilton.
I was quite slow on that car....no idea why.

It didn't turn out well for us.
On the first stint with our start driver we lost the left rear wheel. All 4 bolts sheared off.
Car got repaired and I went out to get the car to a 45th position.
I never drove so slow. White/Payne in their TR4 flew past me on straights and corners.
On my last lap I ran in the dark into a heavy drop of rain and lost it. Way too fast.
I didn't see the rain coming.
I crashed the car and after about 10 minutes I got pulled out of the gravel.
I drove the car to the pits. Front wheel got something but the 3rd driver went out with what was left and we finished on position 71 of 110.
BTW...on his stint the wiper passed away and he had no sight.

RAIN RAIN RAIN

Cheers
Chris

Search for the gear lever...if you are sitting on the right side.

After car was saved and the lost wheel found its way down the hill to the pitlane. Axle change and a set of new wheels.

Pitstop after my crash: I hand over the TR4 to Robert Hamilton
