59 Bugeye Wiper Motor Questions

Ready to reinstall the wiper motor and cable back into the 59 Bugeye. I removed it to install a separate clutch and brake cylinder setup.
(1) what's recommended to lube the cable
(2) how do I slide it past the wipere arm gears? Do I just remove the wipers? Looking for easiest way. Don't want to get upside down and remove the wiper
arm mechanisms.

Personally, I think that RainX is good enough on these small windshields, but sometimes you do need to get bug guts out of the way.

Thanks..

I used white grease.

Yep remove the wipers and they will just slide on.
