That's one sweet Bug!

(I've also had 13 Buses, 7 Beetles and aKarman Ghia...)

Boy, the windshield and rear window look REALLY large for a '59!!! I remember them to be smaller than that! I used to have a '56 (my first car actually!) that had that tiny oval window at the back!

That is one sweet bug Jack. We had another vw join the stable today a 1973 type3 fastback, needs a paint job but other than that not too much. Would really like the wagon myself

Local guy here has a 69 Herbie clone for sale. Professionally done, very clean.... I want it soooo bad!!!!! no space or money..... whaaaaah!!!

We took this car up to the local AF base last week-end and it had more interest than all the Cudas..Vettes...Mustangs etc. My CGT was on one side of it..and a 52 TD kit car(very nicely done) was on the other side. We were swarmed. This 59 got a third place inits class...not bad for basically the first day out.
