I am trying to take the black knob and tumbler out of my ignition switch but it doesn't want to come apart. Does pushing the detent in the black light knob allow the knob to come off or is that detent for the tumbler. Also I can't feel a detent in the hole back in the metal back portion of the switch.
thabks for any help.

You need to post your question in the "Spridget" section below; it'll get answered post haste. This is the part of the Forum reserved for questions on how to navigate the site, and probably won't be seen by the folks who can help with your issue.
