Hey all, New guy here. I am the proud owner of TS18057L. She's been my family for 25 years. My dad restored her once, but after a lot of hard driving, I'm gonna do it again. I was originally going to pick up a first gen. Miata to go spec racing but I don't feel like having my car wrecked every darn event. I'm going to screw the old Triumph together as a vintage racer.... As soon as I get my new garage built. I'll be breaking ground in the next week or so. Wish me luck! please.

:savewave:Welcome! And good luck with your garage and the Trimuph!!

Welcome aboard. There are forums here for triumphs and racing, so I'm sure you can find any help you need. We really like pictures! Old ones or new ones are great. Several others are working on cars with family ties.

Hi There Maddabe,

"Welcome" to the BCF.

I too am working on a `57 Small Mouth. What is yours, Small or Large Mouth?

Best Wishes with the TR & the Garage.

Russ

Large mouth. It's only "technically" a 3A. There are parts from 2's, 3's and even some assorted 4 bits.

Welcome,
I am new to the group also....my project is going to be very involved. I have got some good advice on a few posts since I signed up. They is a lot of knowledge in this group......so ask questions. Pictures make people happy.

Given that information, it seems fitting to name your car "Heinz", especially if you paint it red (BRG would work too)! I know Doc'll understand this one.

<snort> "Heinz" indeed! Not to worry, maddabe, TS13571L is wearing all sorts of later parts, including a replacement "wide mouth" front apron (which was listed by the factory as a replacement for the original "small mouth" and thus can be said to be "factory correct"). It's still just as much fun! (actually more)

Good luck with your project, and welcome to the asylum!
