TR2/3/3A 57 TR3 fuel tank vent

When I replaced the rotten metal under the tank, I must have left out the hole for the vent tube. Can someone please tell me where it goes and the diameter of the hole? In that the tank won't be sitting over this hole as it does for the drain and feed, is there a grommet to keep out the dirt, etc? Also, can't find my banjo bolt. Any suggestions? Thanks
 
My suggestion is to just blank off the banjo fitting (bolt & copper or fiber washer) and add a small hole through the inner fuel cap (if there isn't one there already). With a full tank of gas, the factory vent will spill fuel in a left hand turn.
 
From the inside of the weld seam the firt hole on the right is 8 1/4" to center and 1 3/8" diameter. The middle hole at about 17" is 1". This is also a 57. Don't know, but presume there is a rubber plug to locate the overflow since the pipe is only 3/8" or so.

AEW: Do you have a photo from under the car looking at this area? Lacking that, can you describe the location of the hole for the vent tube (relative to the two other larger holes?
Was/is there a clip intended to hold the tube in place? see photo and drawing below
