'56 Big Healey Racer -

Dougie- why didn't you tell us how nice the Portland weather is? Landed Friday and been dry, sun/clouds and temps close to 70 ever since. Perfect top-down cruising with all the trees and things in bloom! All I need is something the top goes down on. (I am ignoring the forecast for this weekend)

Shhhhh.....Don't let our secret out. We do have a few great spring days, but with more visitors comes more traffic on my favorite roads..

I wanted to bring this story full circle. The Healey racer for sale I posted a few weeks back has a new owner and what a story....It even appears, I may have an addition to "Team Healey- PDX" as this car now resides in Oregon. I hope to get him out to the track soon and even into the BCF. https://bringatrailer.com/2013/04/30/bat-success-story-my-name-was-in-the-logbook-from-1992/ (Reid this would make a great article for the Marque...I'll work on him)

Great story! Thanks for sharing.

Interesting combo.

That guys has spent some serious dollars on his engine, which is appropriate to make good power and keep that stroker alive - the go like a train on the straight, very strong! I've had them stay with me on the straights at Portland and Seattle.

Handling is OK if not brilliant. The one failing of the 100 (which I'd nominate for best looking big Healeye ever) is brakes. They have a hard time trhere unless the organization allows retrofitting discs.

Nice to see another well assembled early Healey going back to the track!
