56 100m on craigslist

I don't know, that's a lot of money even for a 100M. Are they really selling for that much?

Just my opinion but there's a lot of colors working there....

I don't think they will, but if they can get it, good for them. The fact that it is listed on craigslist instead of the usual outlets kinda raises my eyebrows, though. If there is a buyer, they are most likely outside of the US borders where exchange rates can really put a spin on pricing.

I just checked their website, their pricing on other cars are a little high, but nothing outrageous.

I just talked to a guy driving a TR3 at the local Mini 50th anniversary event in Omaha, he sees the BN1 on my T-shirt and says, "have you seen that 100M on craigslist that they want $1xx,xxx for, I made that into the salad bar car.

In fact the salad bar Healey was at a restaurant in Omaha, and it was such an off the wall comment to make that I beleived him.

Said he bought it for $1500 or so, was low miles but hadn't been driven in many years, that was I would guess around 29 years ago or more, when the cars went for A LOT less money, small world isn't it?

You know, there are a lot of things that might influence the final price of a car... racing history, famous owner, 1st off, etc, etc.....but a 'salad bar'....and the bonnet hanging somewhere with holes in it.... 'I don't think so'... ridiculous price!
