Thanks, JR. I found a copy of the 1956 edition on abebooks and it is on the way. I wonder if the 1960 revised edition is any different?

Good stuff!! I surfed around his site and there were some neat pictures, too, like the TR2 pace car for the Lawrenceville, Ill, sport car races.
 
Actually, mine's the 1960 edition. We can compare them.
