50s & 60s Books on Rallies, Gymkhana, etc.

I am looking for books published in the 1950s and 1960s that discuss sports car activities in general: how to run a rally, gymkhana, etc. I have never done anything like that and want to learn more about it.

Any recommendations?

Thanks, JR. I found a copy of the 1956 edition on abebooks and it is on the way. I wonder if the 1960 revised edition is any different?

Good stuff!! I surfed around his site and there were some neat pictures, too, like the TR2 pace car for the Lawrenceville, Ill, sport car races.
