Hard to say about the other stuff. McCarthy was still in the band....just not the bass player.
I guess I've always heard the Pete Best and Ringo were both weak drummers.....so that's a hard question. I would say that Ringo seemed to have more charisma. And many saw his quirky, left-handed drumming as "interesting". I think that in the Beatles they used to joke that Paul and John were better drummers than him.![]()
