I am in need of one top wood bow for a 50 Prefect or a drawing of the radius. mine are all bent from my Dad putting stuff on the roof this is a long shot but if you have a good one either do a trace or could I borrow one to make a copy I will pay for the postage both ways, let me know.
Jim

Jim, do you need a full size drawing or can you work from a smaller one with lots of measurements? I think I can do either but it may take a couple of days since they are installed.

Whichever is easier, right now I have a big hole and some really funky bows yup no problem is there anyway I can get you my address with out the worl knowing?

Hey Jim, I was able to measure the bow today. This was not trivial to do in the car but here is what I got. Center to center of the mounting bolt holes I got 32 inches. I set up a straight edge from end to end at the bolt holes. I then measured the distance from the straight edge to the bottom of the bow every 4 inches from one end across to the other end. The measurements are:
end: 0"
4": 3/16"
8": 3/8"
12": 1/2"
16": 9/16"
20": 1/2"
24": 3/8"
28": 3/16"
end: 0"
Let me know how this works out for you.

Which bow did you measure (do not mean to be picky) #1 is the first from front to back. What I did not realize is that they are all different lengths, would you mind measuring the others?
The way you measured will work just super
Thank you

I measured #2. I can't get back to the shop for a while now due to minor surgery. One of my shop partners tried to measure the lengths for me today. He got 31 on # and gradually increasing to 33 on the last one. It's hard to do that precisely in the car but I think all will be within 1/8 inch or so. Interestingly, I always remembered them as all the same length but it has bee a long time since I had them out. I feel sure the curve from #2 will work for all anyway. Just make #2 then mark the others from the center out.

If I take the one you did and just use the center measurement I am thinking (here comes trouble) they will all look ok. you get well and again I thank you sir,
