#50 Liqui-Moly additives

Recently did my annual oil change.
But his time I flushed it first with LM engine flush.
i used Brad Penn ZDDP SAE 20w-50 oil.

i also added LM cerratec "ceramic additive for high mileage vehicles". It was expensive at $23. A bottle, but they received hundreds of high marks on Amazon
(hopefully it will help postpone the inevitable rebuild)

i also used the "LM motor oil saver". Which is a stop leak formula (small leak from flange pan)
as a general rule I wasn't big on additives, but thought the LM products were worth a try.

lastly I tried the LM "valve clean" gas additive.

(I also used the LM products in my modern vehicles, as they all have over 120k )

All-in-all cars running very strong and smooth.
 
While performance may have improved, (or at least stayed the same).
the small flange oil leak is still there.
however the "motor oil saver " label does state " works over a few hundred kilometers". Not there yet.
 
I'm assuming Triumphs are the same in this regard: when I worked at a BMC dealership back in the day, we only used NONDETERGENT oil. (Valvoline 30, actually.) I was told that the English cars required a certain amount of carbon buildup to properly seal things, and detergent oil would remove that and cause oil consumption.

well after 2 months and about 300 miles, she's still leaking some ( when oil is warm). So, so far the Liqui Moly "Oil Saver" has offered no noticeable improvement.
