5 speed

Hi, This is my first post.
I recently finished a 1966 AH Sprite MKIII for my son,he took it on a nice road trip to Pittsburg from Mich. He loved it but he said it would be nice to have another gear
It has a 1098 w/smooth case 4 speed.
My question is what 5 Speeds do they use for a conversion, I read about a Datsun 210 series 60 was one.
are there others that can be used? I assume there is some sort of adapter plate and drive shaft mods that have to be done.
Any input would be great for a newbee.

You will get far more traffic on your question if you post it on the "Spridgets" forum since yours is a Spridget.
There are two major 5-speed conversions, the Datsun 210 and the Ford T5 (?).
The main source for the Ford kit is Moss and the main sources for the Datsun are Rivergate and Morrisservice (me).

Thanks for the reply,I will post there also.
But here is a dumb question, what makes this car a Spriget?

Sprite + Midget = Spridget
They are both the same car but with some slight badging differences.
See you on the Spridget side!
