Moss Motors has a 3/4" sway bar which is what I have. You will need the following part numbers . 264-555,263-435,280-915,683-062,263-430.

Thanks. Perhaps my next and final addition to the car.

Just an FYI, I'd be careful about using a thicker than stock diameter anti-sway bar without frame reinforcements. I've read of many people ripping out the frame mounts with oversize anti-sway bars. I think 9/16" is stock.

yup ... I've ripped apart a frame rail using a thicker sway bar. I've since welded in stiffening plates. Be careful going to heavy with no other changes in springs/shocks ... you may end up with unwanted under steer.

Thanks. On the sway-bar, is there a particular size (thickness)?

Paul A said 9/16". The 3/4" one is if you are fitting one to the rear as well, as it overcompensates.

YMMV

I have had a 3/4 bar on two cars. The one with stock springs broke the A frame right where the bar mounted. I have re-enforced both cars frame rails for the heavier bar. The one with stiffer front springs, 3/4 bar and rear spring work as well, corners like it's on rails on smooth pavement but is kinda tiring on the rough surface we are forced to drive on much of the time now days. I was setting another car up like the second car but am now thinking about removing the stiffer springs and shelving the 3/4 bar for stock springs and an 11/16's bar. Can't stand our road's!! So, I guess the decision is up to you as to whether your roads warrant the 3/4 bar.

Should have added that I think a bar stiffer than stock is definitely worth the trouble. The difference between a stock bar and no bar is negligible but 3/4 might be a bit much for you. With just the 3/4 bar uneven roads are quite noticeable. Of course, I have mounted my bars with moly filled nylon blocks that have no give which would make a difference as well. .

Kurt.
