Well it was 5:42.08 :wink:
Took the Screamin' Mimi out for a spin today. 15 minutes from my house is a fabulous little hillclimb up Paris Mountain.
Not another car in sight going to the top. Most fun I've had
in 5 minutes in YEARS! :driving: 2nd and 3rd the whole way.
At the top a Honda pulled out and I couldn't do a timed run
back down.
It was so much fun I'm ditching the 3.7 and slapping the 4.2 back in there next week. :jester:

anniversary isn't till Oct....Oh , oh, oh wife's birthday is coming up. "Gee Honey I thought you'd LOVE it!" :devilgrin:
I've bookmarked that helmet cam.
I thought about having her run the digital camera but she had a death grip on the "O-crap" dash bar with both hands and her
harness was cinched TIGHT. Geeesh..the tires never even squealed.
I'll try velcroing a camera to the roll bar after the 4.2 goes in because her birthday isn't for another month. :jester:

I told the wife what I'd posted and about the camera Trevor linked.
"Well...Father's day is just around the corner." She opined.
Hehe...guess buying her the MGB a few weeks ago paid off.
I ordered the wide angle motorsports version. 5 days to the East coast.

Hey, I'm all about instant gratification but with it being Sunday and the snail's pace of UPS I'll be happy if it gets here to Pumpkintown by then.I'm also waiting on the gaskets to come from Moss but I ordered those last week. Premonition. :wink:

It's not that steep and is really a pleasant drive with lots
of shade. I suspect a stock 948cc could pull the whole thing in 3rd.
They used to hold a kick butt sanctioned hillclimb there which
was a ton of fun. People lined the road as they charged up seeking to be the King of the Hill.
Once again...get yer butt down here Pal!

Oh Boy! Goprocamera is due to arrive 6/23
according to UPS tracking.
Gaskets and seals arrived for the diff swap
yesterday.
A plan is coming together.
Who knows I may have film of Guru Hap before too long. :driving:
Think front bumper chase scenes. :devilgrin:
