Actually I do mind the shameless plug. This is so-far a non-commercial forum for the sole purpose of allowing Britsh car enthusiasts (mostly small sports cars) to discuss a great hobby. I will refer you to the first sentence of the first item in my "New User" agreement, which you were supposed to read before you checked the box that you agreed to those terms:
"1. DO NOT use this forum for the sole purpose of posting a URL to some other site! This is called SPAM and it will get deleted and you may be banned. A car-related URL in your signature field in your personal profile is acceptable. The bottom line is - don't use the BCF forums just to promote other forums or web sites. That's just not cool."
