4th of July Parade

Again this year I drove a Triumph in our little town's 4th of July parade.

I consider British cars to be very appropriate for 4th celebrations as without the British we wouldn't have anything to celebrate (i.e. if Geo III had been a little more reasonable on the tax thing we might all be singing God Save the Queen).

Nice little parade. Last year there were only 3 cars, 2 of which were red TR3s. This year many more including 2 Alfas, a Fiat spider, 2 Triumphs and assorted old 'Merican Iron. The TRs both ran well but those Wee-bers on some of the Eye-talian entries didn't seem to like life at 8,000'

In the background you can still see evidence of the wildfire that swept thru the town 5 years ago this summer, destroying most of the structures. The comeback has been slow and the character of the town has changed from cabins to vacation homes but still a very pleasant place.
