Looks pretty stock from the photo, I wonder why it fetched so much.

Didn't go to R&S went to BJ but Bill went, maybe he'll respond.
From the pic all I can guess is fit and finish, quality work etc....also 49k is small money at R&S and folks do get caught up in the moment.
 
I went to Russo and Steel, The car looked freshly restored. I did not get down and look underneath. The paint was excellent, the interior was excellent, it had an overdrive switch, cosmeticly excellent. The engine compartment was very nice but it had a finned valve cover. Looked very nice. Its not my car but just as nice and when my son and I got home we had to lift the cover and make sure my car was still there. Barrett/Jackson had a silver TR-3A with flared fenders, big fat wheels and tires on the rear, lifted the hood and it was nasty, unclean, need detailing. I do not know what it went for. Bill C.
