That is the number of miles we put on the car over our 5 day road trip to the Napa appellation, Lodi appellation, and back home to Chico. I took my road bike as the pics show to explore the Napa hills, found some incredible riding, while my lady was doing work related stuff for the convention in Napa. Then we went all over visiting any winery that would have us with friends in their 1997 Targa. From there we went to Lodi to meet with the Golden Gate Healeys, met up with 7 or 8 other cars (all big Healeys), did some tastings, watched American Graffiti on a lawn with a huge projection screen. Great time. The car did wonderful except when the plug at the battery lead and the main wire that goes to the switch crapped out. I think the bullet end of the connector was corroded. Got it running, went back to the resort, called maintenance, bummed a wire cutter/stripper and a butt connector, and it was all fixed. I'll solder it up later. Anyhow, lots of miles, but it was great, forgot that I was driving a tiny 56 year old car as it drove so well. For those that are in the area....Highway 29 from Middletown to Calistoga....ya, you know what I'm talking about! Love those turns!
