44 years apart

It's quiet here this morning and I've been playing about with "Gimp" (which is similar to Photoshop, but is free)

The black and white snap was taken in '69. (at an autocross in Neshaminy Mall, PA)
The colour photo was from this years PVGP.
Thus, the two photos are taken about 44 years apart.

Same driver. ;)

The cars are different but I think one of the front fenders, the bonnet, the grill and the gearbox in the left side photo are all from the older car. Probably other stuff too.

In the old days we ran autocrosses without a helmet. (!!!)

The crash hat hides all my grey hair!

Well current photo shows a much more aggressive driver with Spridget cornering flat in a 3 wheel stance. Never noticed that daylight under the LF wheel before. I'll assume that was not Photoshopped. Just going fast.

Great pics, Nial. A long life of Spridgeteering for you!

Only been a few years for me (2006 when I bought my first Bugeye). Hoping a picture with me driving the new Bugeye won't take me 44 years to complete!

First legal drive with the Tunebug back in 2006

Great pic's Nial and Drew. I really enjoy seeing light under a wheel...gives a good sense of the speed.

Nial, I don't believe I've seen a pic of your Aeronca. Wrong forum but what the heck!!

Kurt.
