We're talking about a song. I don't hear anyone or anything specific being named, only current events of the time. There is no reason whatsoever to find this topic offensive.
I agree, which is why it's still here. However...Bret is 100% correct in that a war protest song is, by it's very nature, political and thus technically "could" devolve into a discussion/debate about current conflicts (especially, given the subject reference that the song is "still applicable" after 43 years.)
