This is a picture of my BJ8 last December when we celebrated the 40th anniversary with her.

Yep, I bought it December 13, 1968. That was a Friday, so all you hear about Friday the 13th isn't necessary the gospel. Still love it. I spent a few (more than a few!!!) bucks last year and updated it with a wood steering wheel, new brake lines (stainless) new front suspension and the new wheels and tires.
Thanks for the comment.

What size tires did you put on the 5 1/2 inch wheels?

They are 195/65R15 Yokohamas. I like them so far, although I don't have many miles on them. I had no trouble with fit or clearance.

Very nice!

Thanks for the comment. We do like driving the ol' girl here. Of course, this time of year it is just couch driving. Love the red on your car. And, I like the quote at the end of your post.
Hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas.

I have 195/65 x 15 Yokohamas on my BN6 (6" wide steel wheels), and will need to source another set within the month. I just ordered a set of 15 x 6 center-laced wire wheels and won't put my still deep tread, but seven (7) year old tires on the them.

Your car does look nice!

BTW, I'm a bit of a newcomer; I've only had my Healey coming up on thirty-two (32) years
