MGB $40,000 MGB!

Yeah you read that right... a $40,000 MGB, a 1980 model with a claimed 1,100 original miles listed up in Canada. But is any MGB worth that much?

[OK, I give up... I swear you can't link directly into some of these Auto Trader sites! ]

Anyway to see the fabulous car try www.canadatrader.com and search for MG in Saskatchewan (there's only one listed)

that one isn't. even if the mileage is accurate you'd spend a fortune getting it ready to drive if you had the nerve to do so. I know a guy who has a 79 with 12K showing on the odometer, which I personally don't believe, but he only drives it to and from local shows. What a waste

Well, if it Canadian, it might be worth $5,000 tops!
 
A car is worth whatever someone wants to pay for it. $40k is too much for me for any MG though.

FYI - three years ago I found a 1980 MGB for sale with 128 miles on it, the guy wanted something like $16k for it as I recall.
