For Sale 4-Speed Transmission (Triumph TR6) for Sale

I have a transmission from a 1971 TVR Vixen 2500 removed for a 5-speed conversion.

It is really a Triumph Stanpart TR6 4-Speed from 1970 or 1971. It was working great when removed. It had about 73,000 miles on it when removed.

Part Number: Stanpart 306812SM
V2947
CD37508

It is non-overdrive (if it was, I would not have done the five speed upgrade). Reasonably priced at $200. It comes with everything you see here, as well as the shifter cane assembly.

Prefer local pickup in Southern Arizona (Tucson), but can arrange for transport to Phoenix, if you’re not in a hurry.

I also have (a very few) leftover parts from an Eaglegate 5-Speed conversion (Snout Adapter, Rear TR6 Trans Mount plate, Shifter Cane and “Magic Bullet”) for sale.

Also have a friend in Southern California (Camarillo) that has a very clean “ribbed” 4-speed transmission from a 1959 Bug-Eye Sprite for sale. He also recently completed a 5-Speed conversion.

I don’t know very much about his pricing or anything else, but would be happy to put you in contact with him if there is interest.

Contact me on this thread, or via Private Message.

Rocky
