Turns out Dr. Kelvin and Dr. Farenheit were both hard of hearing and what the 3rd Dr. actually said was "She'll see us!"
 
Interesting the directions this pun has gone, lots of different elements. In fact, it may even be a compound pun, it certainly isn't inert.
