TR4/4A 4/4A Horn to Front Valance Stay Rods

I'm sending off the stay rods (750206 & 750205) that go from the horn bracket to the front valance to the powder coater. I thought I would get to work on the front suspension during the 2 week wait for the parts.

Would be okay to lift the car (2 post lift) without the stay roads in place or do I need to put in surrogate stay rods to keep everything all in line? How crucial are those stay rods other than giving us a place to secure the wiring harness running to the headlights?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Jeremy,

I can't imagine they do more than brace the front apron. I know I didn't have them on my car during most of the original restoration and wasn't aware of any issues.
