Last March I posted a few photos of monster
37' waves pounding the beach near home and along
the north coast of the island.

NOAA has just published a summary of how this freak
event originated in New England, roared thru the
islands and made it all the way to Africa.

Two awesome photos in the NOAA summary not far from home>
Two page summary- A guy surfing a 40' wave is worth a peep.

Dang! That picture with the surfer in it looks more like a picture from Hawaii than PR!!!

Tom,

Me and the Mrs hung out at a beach cafe for several hours
watching the monster waves and listening to their constant
roar as they broke on the near shore reef.

We saw hundreds and hundred of folks in the surf.
A few brave (stupid?) surfers paddled out to
ride the monsters.

But we enjoyed one heck of a beach party. Crypty
was functional that day and parked right up front.

By my command, Cripty will always in the future be functional.
