TR4/4A 327 Powered TR4 on Ebay....

Where on ebay is it?

I'd buy it just for the toy factor of it. Completely impractical, ugly, probably poorly constructed. I'm already sourcing parts for my second TR4 project, capable of much tire smoke...and it's not going to have more than 4 cylinders. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

As big a fan of V8 powered TRs as I am, I'll have to say this one leaves me cold. However, if the transplant itself was done well, it would be a good starting point for someone to take over and make it good. For a few more TRs, well done TRs, with V8s, see https://www.britishv8.org

I love this line from the auction listing: "It runs good, goes down the road straight and stops good." No mention of going around turns. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Not my kind of car at all, but I accept it for what I'm assuming it is: an old, worn-out TR that someone made into a street racer/drag car. Nothing more...and no worse than the 1950s and 1960s where virtually every clapped-out Ford Anglia or Thames panel van or Fiat Topolino body ended up as decoration for a dragster platform (not to mention the ubiquitous Willys Coupe)! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

....with tires the size in that pic it probably handles corners well...that is, for ANY car 60 inches wide....

A carpet kit would certainly do wonders for that rough looking interior.
