Yes, I remember that 10cc album cover, but never had that album__just wasn't that much of a fan__and predated the purchase of my own Healey by a couple of years.

Janet Jackson and Tears for Fears gave Healeys some extensive screen time back in the dawn of MTV. To this day, whenever I hear the intro to "Everybody wants to rule the world" my hands snap to the 3:00 /9:00 positions, doesn't matter if I'm in a car or not ;)

Boy! You folk are behinds the times! I have had that album since it was released in the seventies.

Canadian station CJOM (Windsor, Ontario/Detroit, Michigan) overplayed that song ("I'm not in love") so shamelessly__especially on DJ Ron Legg's shift__that I was absolutely sick of it (and still tune it out mentally today) that I had zero interest in buying the album.

Put this way; if I had bought the album (and solely for the cover) it would still be sealed in its shrink-wrap today.

I liked 10CC when my guitar player gave me the album Sheet Music over a weekend and we started preforming the Wall Street Shuffle. We thought we were so adult at 17. I'm sure everyone laughed, but it was pretty catchy and we had a lot of fun with the vocals.
Chris...

I had no idea what this band is until I just listened to "I'm not in love". Like Randy said... the radio station overplayed it here in Ithaca NY to, AKA the middle of no where. As I recall the girls sure liked it though.
