3000 Mk III in rough condition - value?

I don't think anyone has said this yet. Not on this thread anyway. The frames rust from the inside out. Mine looked just fine from the underside. It was when I pulled the floor pans for replacement that I found holes in the top of the frame that cannot be seen otherwise. You can fix the frame or replace it with a Jule or Kilmartin parts. Keep everything!! I don't care how bad it is. I tossed rusted brake and fuel lines and now I need them for bends, clip placement, routing, etc...

Several BCF Gurus have bailed me out (THANK YOU) but if I'd have saved everything and took more pics I wouldn't have had to ask. I did take about 30 pics. 200 would have been better. Use a good quality digital camera. The detail in the far corner of the pic has saved me several times.

I also baged, tagged, boxed, labeled, organized, etc...and I'm still having a tough time finding the right parts and remembering where they go and how they attach. I put long decriptive notes in each and every bag or container.
 
Restoring a car no matter the make is like reverse engineering those model cars we built as kids. As you take it apart, create the instructions to put it back together. Perhaps BEFORE undertaking a restoration, it would be a good idea to get a model kit and build it, following the directions to get a sense of how it is done.....hmmmm, I think a trip to the hobby shop is in order today.....
