I just happened to notice that we are exactly 300 members away from hitting the big 10 thou members! At current rate of growth, I estimate sometime in April.

OK, I'll say no more.
 
What is confusing to me is we just added member #10002. I know about mysterious member #1, but what happened to the other 300?
 
A combination of things. A few (very few) were real members who were banned. Some were spammers who were banned and deleted before they got started. I always do an IP trace and any time a member signs up whose IP traces to China, they get deleted (that's probably where the majority come from). The thing is, they never say they are in China - thay always lie and say they are in "USA." A few others have sold their LBCs over the years and asked to be removed.
 
Can't believe this took so long to pop into my head (and I don't know why). The final scene of 300. Kinda ironic that 300 Spartans turn into 10,000.
