MGB $30,000 mgb?

A seller can can ask any price they'd like...

I'm sure it's a great example of the last iteration of the marque. But a 1980 version can't hold a candle to a '67 (or any pre-1968) one in similar condition, IMHO.

And that "desirable" brown color was referred to in the day as: "Baby S**t" Brown... :smirk:

"Honey, I listed it just like you told me, but no one called, I guess I have to keep it."

 Thats gotta be what it is. Smart move

"Honey, I listed it just like you told me, but no one called, I guess I have to keep it."

You know that kind of thing does actually happen, I just talked to a guy a couple weeks ago who I knew was trying to sell his MGB, mentioned if had been for sale for a while, "Oh I am not really trying to sell the car, don't tell my wife that though"

This raises all kinds of red flags for me. The first is the mileage claim: what is "certified" mileage? "Certified" is not the same as "documented." IMO, that's all nonsense anyway--is a car that's hardly been driven really good?

And, the interior seems to show considerable use, although that might be just bad photos. He claims it's original, but never quite says that the paint is original, but implies it.

The price is not realistic, and even if it were, and I were interested in that car, I'd take a VERY close look at it.
