The surround on the rocker fan and headlight switch on my '69 Sprite are black and all the replacement switches are painted chrome. Since the headlight logo is gone I bought a chrome surround switch took it apart and painted the surround satin black. Looks perfect, however, in putting it back together I now have only a 2 position switch, on and off, where did my 3rd position go. I tried all sort of combinations in reassembling the switch, but still no 3rd position. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
