I talked to the guy. It appears to be MGB # 571. At the very beginning of production. Only problem is it was 150 miles from where it seemed to be from the listing. If it was in Atlanta I might have bought it.
 
Looks like it went for under four hundred bucks. What color was it, exactly....black, red, yellow?
