I've got Three Datsun B210s -

1.1978 - 4 speed,body in good shape,was given to me
Blue.I've got $3500 -$4000 into it.

2.1978 - 5 Speed,needs work,almost runs.I bought it
for the transmission.Brown (was Mint Green).

3.1974 - 4 Speed,was rolled,fairly complete.It was free.
- Turquiose.

We have 9 cars now.I'm trying to figure out what
to do with these Datsuns.I know that I should strip the '74,
& save some parts, but I'm tempted to get it running & AutoX
it.

Why do I have such a hard time making these decisions?

sell the 5 speed on the Spridget board - many will want that transmission for conversions

Doug, these transmissions go for $400 and up. At the peak they could go for double that.

Who!

It's ready to be dropped out,& put into the Blue '78
4 speed car,but if someone wants to give me enough,I'll keep
the 4 speed.

If it fits a Spridget, it'll be lovely in my A40, but the shipping.... my wife would bury me under the patio (with car)!

I've got the cars on the humboldt,ca craiglist now-
no takers.Maybe I'll end up finishing the Blue one!

I suspect the Datsuns have a much smaller enthusiast base than an MG or a Triumph. On the other hand you've got them already......

restore one
rod one
one for parts

Makes a bucket of sense to me!
