If you were following this post or have read of my problems with the OD here is the answer. I got into my car and moved the shifter over to the right, OD came on. If I let the shifter seat itself while in 4th it turned the OD of. I'll be damned that little things you pick up on this forum are amazing. Thanks Paul. All I need it a little adjusting and I'll be good to go.

Alright! Thanks for the note. I'll give credit where credit is due. I picked up the tip from Keith Ansell down in Vancouver, WA.

You can replace/adjust the switch w/o removing the transmission. Seems like someone posted the procedure here in the last week or so. Basically, you drop the back end of the transmission and reach in via the top inspection cover on the transmission tunnel. Having small hands is a plus too.

Glad you found the problem.

Paul

I spoke with a friend last night and told him that this was the soulution. He said the same thing about dropping the rear of the trans. BTW ~ it worked like a dream this morning.

Way to go. Now you are an expert on the procedure.
