2nd BCF Web Site? Question?

After installing my files in the new computer, I brought up the British car web sites to book mark them. When looking for the BCF, the first web site that came up was different than this one and has Basils photo in the upper left side. It wouldn't let me in with the credentials I use here. Could someone explain this? I had to chase around to find this site and when it came on, it was very slow and the speed of this sit is slower than most others, yet the site with Basils photo on is very fast! Why the difference? PJ

Wow - definitely weird.

What's the URL of that website with Basil's photo on it?

This is the site I jumped on, but was surprised to find it came up under British Car Forum, not the one we use. Clicked the link in Basils post and came to the regular site. Seem like others with newer sites are using the same name, kinda dumb in my book PJ

British Car Forum - UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community

Thanks Paul. That forum has nothing to do with British Cars. It's a forum for users of the software (UBB/PHP) that BCF runs on. There are *many* other forums using that software. You just happened to hit Basil's "page" when you searched for British Car forums.

Mystery solved!

What Tom said. In fact that site is for the software I used years ago (UBB Threads), not the software I use these days.

As they say - once it's on the internet, it's there forever!
